<![CDATA[Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, on Saturday, 2nd April, represented President Muhammadu Buhari in Niamey, Niger, at the inauguration of President Issoufou Mahamadou, who won a second term in the recently-conducted election in the country.

President Buhari, who is currently away in the United States (US) for the nuclear energy summit hosted by President Barrack Obama, is billed to return to Nigeria on Sunday, 3rd of April, 2016.

According to the Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, Prof Osinbajo is expected to return to the country same day.

He said: “President Muhammadu Buhari is being represented today in Niamey, Niger, at the inauguration of President Issoufou Mahamadou, who won a second term recently.

“The Vice President returns today.”]]>
